Drowning in uMhlanga on Friday night

The exact details of what happened will form part of a South African Police Service investigation.

IN THE early hours of Saturday morning, a man drowned in a swimming pool on uMhlanga Ridge. According to Netcare 911 spokesperson, Chris Botha, the man who was 25 years-old, was found at the bottom of a swimming pool in an apartment complex. He went on to say that paramedics had been called out at 1.13am on Saturday to the incident.

“Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the unresponsive man next to the pool. Tragically, after examining the patient he was declared dead at the scene,” Botha added.
