Botswana quake may have caused Durban tremor
Monday's earthquake is reportedly the largest earthquake on record to have struck Botswana.
THE tremor felt in Durban and other parts of South Africa this evening may have been caused by an earthquake in Botswana.
A registered earthquake occurred in Botswana of 6.5 on the Richter Scale, according to earthquaketrack.com.
Several peopleΒ took to social media, and reported feeling the tremor in Durban and surrounding areas, Johannesburg and Pretoria.
There has been noΒ reports of anyΒ possible damage or casualties at the moment.Β Monday’s earthquake is reportedly the largest earthquake on record to have struck Botswana.
