VETERAN entertainers and comedians Neville and Mervyn Pillay come together for a show packed with standup comedy, skits and parodies this April. The show is aptly titled ‘Don’t Pillay with us’ and the two come with a wealth of experience in making people laugh and finding the humour in everything.
Having traded as a radio DJ for many years at P4, East Coast and recently Lotus FM, Neville has done it all with regards to broadcast. He is a favourite among listeners for his witty come backs, hilarious parodies and just laid back humorous nature.
He has performed extensively throughout KwaZulu-Natal. Mervyn comes with his brand of actor mimicry, imitations and impressions, having started out doing Bollywood shows and then branching into mainstream comedy has given him a new lease on life as an entertainer.
He has played to audiences throughout the country with his brand of comedy. Both Neville and Mervyn have appeared in various shows that include, ‘Aunty Rumba & Friends’ and ‘Bruin Ous & Chaar Ous Comedy Night’. This is the first time that they will be working as a duo. Don’t Pillay with us is on for one day only on Sunday, 30 April at 3pm at the iZulu Theatre, Sibaya Casino. Tickets are R12 and available from Computicket.
