Two injured in shootout at Sea Cow Lake bottle store
The unknown number of armed suspects fled the scene and are still at-large.
A BUSINESS robbery turned violent this afternoon when an unknown number of suspects entered a bottle store in Palmfield Road. The armed suspects attempted to rob the store in Sea Cow Lake, but shots were fired and two men sustained serious wounds.
Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen said, “The incident happened at about 2:40 pm, and we received the call shortly thereafter.”
Van Reenen went on to say that none of the suspects were apprehended as they had fled before the security forces’ arrival. The victims who were shot were treated on-site before being transported to a hospital for further care by Netcare 911 paramedics.
