PREPARE to be left in stitches as some of South Africa’s hottest comedians gear up to share the stage with Durban’s best acts.
On Fire Comedy in partnership with Savanna Premium Cider and East Coast Radio brings you another run of top-class comedy shows throughout Durban.
The details for the shows are as follows:
Butlers Comedy Night (Hillcrest) will be held on Wednesday, 1 March, at Butler’s Restaurant (24 Old Main Rd, Hillcrest), at 8pm. Catch SA comedy legend – John Vlismas performing with Rory Petzer, Carl Joshua Ncube (Zim) and Thabiso Mhlongo (JHB). Tickets are R100 and will be available at the venue or at the door on the night. The Kill or Die Newcomer Showcase will also be held on 1 March, at the Amsterdam Comedy Club (Glenwood). The hilarious Neville Pillay will host a special comedy show in which 10 of the hottest up-and-coming local acts get five minutes each to impress. Line-up: Kayla Cherry, Byron Bowler,Marvin Peters, Jo Holroyd, Musa, Mfundo, Andrew Hughes, Sbu Mnyandu, Clinton Sikhakane and Noel Green. Nkosinathi Maki (JHB) and Some Blaqq Guy will also be featuring. The show starts at 8.30pm at the Amsterdam Bar (143 Helen Joseph Rd, Glenwood). Tickets cost R50.
