8 year-old injured after car rolls into bushes along M4
There were six occupants of the car which rolled over and landed in the bushes opposite La Lucia Mall.
AN EIGHT year old was among the survivors of a crash on Sunday afternoon, after the car they were travelling in rolled over opposite La Lucia Mall.
According to Netcare 911 spokesperson, Chris Botha, “Paramedics responded to the accident at 1.43 pm, February 12. Reports from the scene suggest that the red Corsa bakkie veered off the highway and overturned, coming to a stop in the bushes alongside the M4, heading toward Durban.”
The exact cause of the crash will form part of an investigation by the South African Police Services, who were also on the scene.
The six occupants of the bakkie sustained moderate injuries. The patients were stabilised on-scene before medics transported them to a local hospital.
