Armed robbery suspects still at large

The four robbers got away with appliances and valuable items.

FOUR men are still at large after committing a brazen house robbery on Wednesday, 8 February. The robbers held two women at gunpoint in a house on Maynard Road.
At about 11.15am, the domestic worker screamed and ran inside, the owner of the house said. After being alerted by the screaming, the second woman immediately closed the gate to the Kenville property. The first women said she had seen four unknown men jump over the wall and come toward the house.
Greenwood Park SAPS spokesman, W/O Leon Audh said: “Then the owner locked the front door too. One of the suspects then fired a shot. The robbers broke the gate and door and entered the house. That is when the men aimed a gun at the women and put them into a room.”

The suspects ransacked the home of the resident’s TV, laptops, jewellery and cash.
