Man robbed of cash at gunpoint

"The first suspect opened the boot from inside the car, took the key's and threw them away."

A MAN was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday morning, of an undisclosed amount of cash. Two men driving a white Toyota Corolla blocked his car at the corner of North Coast Road and Moreland Road, at 11.40am the victim told Greenwood Park police.

The station’s spokesman, W/O Leon Audh said:”The suspects jumped out of the Corolla. One of them approached the victim’s car and pointed a rifle at him. The man with the gun demanded the victim’s belongings from the boot of his car.  After opening the boot, the second suspect then approached the victim’s vehicle and took his laptop bag. The first suspect opened the boot from inside the car, took the key’s and threw them away.”

The suspects made off with the cash and an Acer laptop bag. They drove off in the white Corolla with a licence plate number, ND 399421.
