Drug dealers nabbed in Greenwood Park

Greenwood Park SAPS have vowed to continue with their intelligence driven operations until all illegal operations are shut down.

THREE drug dealers were arrested and a large amount of dagga and fake cigarettes were seized by members of Greenwood Parks SAPS crime prevention unit on Thursday. According to spokesman for the station, Warrant Officer, Leon Audh, the officers received information about suspected drug dealings that lead to their observation at three different premises.
“After their initial investigations were complete, the team pounced on these places and continued with their searches. During their search of the premises, members recovered large amounts of dagga and also fake cigarettes,” said Audh.
Three people were nabbed for dealing in drugs and another for being in possession of dagga.
“We would like to send out a stern message to all drug dealers in the Greenwood Park area, that we are continuing with observations and intelligence driven operations such as these until all illegal operations are shut down,” added Audh.
Colonel Mbongeni Mngadi (Station Commander) commended the members and thanked them for their support in the fight against crime.
