Debbie Reynolds dies a day after her daughter, Carrie Fisher

Film legend, Debbie Reynolds died a day after the death of her daughter, Carrie Fisher.

DEBBIE Reynolds, Oscar nominated singer-actress and mother of the late Carrie Fisher, died yesterday after suffering a stroke.

The news of Reynold’s death comes a day after Carrie Fisher (60), who portrayed Princess Leia in the Star Wars series, died following a massive heart attack last week.

According to media reports, 84-year-old Reynolds collapsed at her son’s Beverly Hills home and was rushed to hospital.

Reynolds starred in numerous Hollywood musicals and comedies in the 1950s and 1960s.
