THREE people were seriously injured in a head-on collision on the M4, near Sibaya Casino, last night.
The trio were entrapped within the crumpled wreckage and emergency teams had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate the injured.
The extrication took almost 40 minutes and once freed, the three were stabilised at the scene. They were then rushed to local hospitals for urgent care.
Police are investigating further.
