Primary School pupils hit by taxi on North Coast Road

The accident occurred near the intersection of Mimosa Road and North Coast Road.

TWO schoolchildren are being treated on North Coast Road after being hit by a taxi while crossing the road. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the incident occurred near the Mimosa Road/North Coast Road intersection.

“The pupils, aged seven and nine, were hit by the taxi as they were crossing the road at the intersection. They were both injured in the collision and were tended to by Crisis Medical paramedics. They were traumatised by the incident. The two young men remarkably sustained only minor injuries and were treated on scene before being released into the custody of their school teacher,” he said.
