Energise your Heritage Day with The Morning Rave

Party to some ‘lekker’ local tunes this Heritage Day.

DURBAN, get ready to ride that rickshaw right into the middle of the hottest ‘jol’ this side of the solar system. On Saturday 24 September, The Morning Rave will be celebrating Heritage Day. The intergalactic breakfast-fitness party kicks off at 7am at 8 Morrison Street and pays homage to something we all have in common – that ultra-special Mzansi-dancing magic.

This is the fourth instalment of this electric social fitness party, with state of the art sound, lighting and entertainment.  The vivacious Veranda Panda, will keep people hip-hopping on the dance floor with their proudly South African ‘choons’.

The event will also give people an opportunity to assist the less fortunate. Take along an old, but decent pair of shoes that can be donated to a needy individual, and you will get a brand-spanking new pair of genuine Tomy Takkies.

All donated shoes will be donated to The Robin Hood Foundation’s Choose Your Shoes Spring 2016 campaign, whereby they will be putting shoes on the feet of 1 000 orphaned and vulnerable children in Amaoti in October.

Tickets cost R100 at Webtickets or R120 at the door. Children under 12 get in free.
