Support the SPCA’s annual Bargain Hunt

Shop for till you drop while supporting the animal rights organisation.

THE search is on at the Durban & Coast SPCA’s annual September Bargain Hunt, where the public can support the non-profit organisation while finding the perfect trinkets for their homes.

This year, due to the last Saturday of the month falling in a public holiday, the organisation will host the event on 1 October.

Animal lovers are encouraged to join staff and volunteers for a fun morning of shopping and delicious treats at the Coffee Cats Café from 8am to 12:30pm.

“Don’t forget you can donate your unwanted goods to the Durban & Coast SPCA. We take anything that is in ‘resell-able condition’, whether it’s jewellery, clothes, cutlery, crockery, ornaments or furniture,” said the SPCA’s Lindsey Concer.

Collection services are available for uMhlanga, Durban North, Morningside, Bluff and Berea. Items can also be dropped off at the SPCA’s premises on 2 Willowfield Crescent, Springfield Park.
