Pampering pooches with therapeutic dog massages

Watching these dogs get massages is better than getting one yourself.

A HOTEL in Taiwan is having a dog masseuse pamper the pooches staying with them with pet massages using ancient Chinese techniques. Dog massage teacher Ken Tsai says he utilizes theories employed in traditional Chinese medicine, including the meridian system, a theory of energy flowing along certain channels through the body.

According to Tsai, the massage lowers blood pressure and reduces stress for both the giver and receiver and takes only minutes a day. Based on the looks on the dog’s faces, it seems like they’re loving it.
