Decomposed body of baby found in Park Hill

The tiny body was dumped in a plastic bag.

PARK Hill residents were left shocked and devastated after the badly decomposed body of a baby had been discovered on Blackburn Road yesterday morning. It is believed that the infant was a newborn.

According to W/ O Leon Audh, the Greenwood Park SAPS spokesman, the tiny body had been tied in a black plastic bag and dumped between the park and one of the homes.

Audh said it was impossible to determine the sex of the baby due to the state of decomposition.

The grim discovery had reportedly been made while contractors were repairing a wall that had collapsed during the recent heavy rains.

Workers picked up the bag to move it and when the bag tore, the grisly contents were discovered.
