Armed men storm Rinaldo Road service station

The armed men fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. 

AN armed robbery has just occurred at the Engen garage on Rinaldo Road in Durban North. The store clerk was held up by three men armed with handguns, said Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen.
The men are believed to have stolen an undisclosed amount of cash as well as cigarettes before fleeing the scene their getaway car, which they parked 300 metres from the scene, added Van Reenen.
According to reports a driver waited for his armed accomplices in the getaway car.
The suspects reportedly fled onto Chris Hani (North Coast) Road.
“A customer who witnessed the incident, followed the suspects, but lost them towards KwaMashu,” said Van Reenen.
