Man robbed at Chris Saunders Park

One of the suspects was armed with a knife.

A MAN was robbed of his valuables by two men, one of whom was armed with a knife. According to Capt Raymond Deokaran, spokesman for the Durban North SAPS the incident occurred at about midday on Saturday.

“The man was using the park saying he was in the area to use the WiFi. He was approached by two men who asked for directions to the taxi rank. As he was pointing them in the direction, one of the suspects produced a knife. They demanded his valuables and took his wallet and cell phone. They fled on foot.”

Deokaran added there had been no arrests made as yet.
