Gang robs Riverside service station
Three men, one armed, robbed the premises of an undisclosed amount of cash.
A THREE-MAN gang stormed a service station on Riverside Road in Umgeni Park yesterday evening. The men are believed to have fled the scene with undisclosed amount of cash.
According to Kyle van Reenen, of Marshall Security, the suspects confronted the store clerk at around 7.40pm. One of the suspects produced a firearm.
The suspects fled on foot, and despite armed reaction officers combing the area, said Van Reenen, the suspects managed to escape and are still at large.
