Record numbers for SA’s largest home show

THE ECR House & Garden Show hit record breaking numbers on Sunday. The exhibition which is in it’s 36th year, welcomed thousands of visitors to the Durban Exhibition Centre to experience over 30,000sqm of show space.
Visitors were treated to an appearance by rugby legend Butch James on the Springbok Opus stand; a surprise visit by Dora the Explorer ahead of her show debut at the neighbouring ICC, and fun was had by the visiting ECR jocks who are broadcasting live from the venue for the entire 10 show days.
Visitors will be treated to a performance by The Kickstands band on Saturday. A special ticket of R50 after 5pm through to Thursday will have visitors taking advantage of the late opening hours of 9pm on week days – with an array of eateries open for dinner.
