Man stabbed on NCR

It is alleged that the man was stabbed following an altercation at a local bar.

A MAN was left fighting for his life after he was stabbed in the chest on North Coast Road last night.

Reports from the scene suggest that an altercation ensued between two men at a local bar, which resulted in the stabbing.

Kyle van Reenen of Marshall Security said Netcare 911 paramedics had to use intermediate life support intervention to stabalise the 36-year-old man. He was later taken to Addington Hospital.

“No arrests were made and the scene was handed over the Greenwood Park SAPS for investigation,” said Van Reenen.

Northglen News was unable to get comment from Greenwood Park SAPS at the time of publication
