Calling all aspiring entrepreneurs

The Robin Hood Foundation is set to host an empowering entrepreneurial conference.

THE Robin Hood Foundation, as its name suggests, takes resources from the rich and redistributes those resources directly into the hands of the poorest of the poor.

In their 11th year of operation, they are taking giving to a new level and are hosting another world-class Entrepreneurial Conference for aspirant and existing entrepreneurs at City Hill Church, Hillcrest on 12 and 13 July.

The Entrepreneurs 4 Africa Conference will train, develop, equip and inspire 1 000 delegates, mainly from previously disadvantaged communities, on the critical aspects of entrepreneurship with knowledge, skills and advice in a jam-packed, two day event.

Top class speakers, trainers, and experienced business owners are donating their time in order to offer a life-changing experience. Speakers include: Gcina Mhlope, Eric Tocknell, Akhona Mahlati, Mariane Vorster, Grant Gavin, Cindy Norcott, Ayesha Mimis, Brian Adams, Daryl Williams, Sibongiseni Mazibuko and Nomfundo Molefe.

This free conference will cover the following: business ethics, success stories, managing money, ideas generation, basics of book-keeping, the business plan, marketing on a budget, pricing and costing, business etiquette, customer service, goal setting and motivation.

Founder of The Robin Hood Foundation, Cindy Norcott said,

“We aim to empower the delegates that attend with skills, knowledge and an exposure to a higher level of thinking. With this two day course behind them we believe that we will be equipping the youth to start thinking of creating their own businesses instead of looking for jobs that don’t necessarily exist.

Candidate selection criteria:
– Men and women aged 16 and older may apply.
– Successful applicants must commit to the two day seminar
– 100 per cent attendance is required.
