Man in serious condition after Effingham stabbing

The motive for the brutal attack is unknown at this stage says local security company.

A MAN believed to be in his 20s is in a serious condition after he was stabbed several times early on Monday morning. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen the incident occurred at about 5.45am on Mogul Crescent.

“He was stabbed several times while he was waiting for his friend outside his home. His friend’s wife heard the screams and rushed to his aid and found him bleeding and lying on the floor.

“There was no description or whereabouts of the suspects as it was very dark at the time of morning. He has been taken to Addington Hospital and remains in a serious but stable condition,” he said.
