Durban North residents hijacked in their driveway

The suspects made off with the victim's Mercedes Benz.

TWO armed men hijacked a Durban North couple in their driveway on Wednesday night. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the incident occurred on Oxford Drive at about 9pm. It’s believed the victims were followed home by the suspects from a local sports club.

“As the local residents pulled into their driveway they were confronted by two suspects who were armed. They ordered the victims to get out of the vehicle, a Mercedes Benz, before making off with the vehicle. Thankfully no one was injured in the incident and Durban North SAPS are on scene,” he said.

On Tuesday, an Avoca father and his three-year-old daughter were hijacked.
