Desperate search for Glen Anil man

The 65-year-old man reportedly suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.

THE family of a missing Glen Anil man is desperately trying to track him down after he reportedly snuck out of his home on Pigeonwood Close. Colin Palmer (65) suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, his son Wayne Palmer confirmed.

Wayne, said they believe his father snuck out of the house at around 2pm this afternoon.

“We don’t allow him to drive, but he just snuck out. We only realised that he was missing an hour and half later when we saw the car was gone,” he said.

According to the family the resident was last seen driving a grey Nissan Tida. He was wearing slops, a navy blue shirt and white boxer shorts.

“He could literally be anywhere. For all we know he is driving to Johannesburg to see a friend. He has no wallet and no phone,” added his concerned son.

Wayne said when they realised that Colin had snuck out he immediately jumped into another vehicle and drove to all the obvious spots, but wasn’t able to find his father.

Anyone who has seen Colin is urged to contact Wayne on 082 257 7477.
