Armed gang storms Durban North home
The three men are said to have held two domestic workers at gunpoint as they ransacked the home.
TWO domestic workers were held up during a home invasion in The Drive, Durban North yesterday.
The incident occurred after a gang of three armed robbers derailed the property gate and stormed the home, said Brian Jackson, Blue Security operations manager. They are said to have held the women at gunpoint as they ransacked the home.
“Our armed response officers arrived at the scene within a few minutes of the break-in. The robbers had managed to flee the scene with a television. No injuries were reported,” he said.
The robbers fled in a grey BMW X5.
The women were left uninjured yet traumatised by the incident, added Jackson. They were later provided with counseling.
Durban North SAPS also attended the scene of the crime.
