uMhlanga village’s first boutique shopping mall unveiled

Situated within the already-established The Pearls of Umhlanga, Pearl Walk is set to open its doors in November this year.

WITH six months to go until the doors of Pearl Walk are officially opened, 96 per cent of the high-end boutique mall is already tenanted. Fulfilling the role as uMhlanga’s first boutique shopping mall, Pearl Walk has generated demand from some of the country’s biggest brands as they vie to become part of the much-acclaimed Pearl Sky development, which has achieved national attention.

Situated within the already-established The Pearls of Umhlanga, Pearl Walk is set to open its doors in November this year.

“The response to Pearl Walk has been extremely positive. At this stage there are only three small retail stores and one restaurant space still available. Food Lovers Market has been confirmed as the anchor tenant, and to complement the exclusivity of the mall, this will be the flagship store with a new-look contemporary design,” explained Neil Cocker, leasing agent at Pearl Walk.

Other retailers that have confirmed their occupancy include Levisons, Tititi Boutique, Planet Fitness and Platinum Jewellers, as well as Lupa and Boost Juice Bar to name but a few.

“From select beauty outlets and restaurants, to food stores and a fitness centre, Pearl Walk is bound to excite shoppers with many brands being a first in KwaZulu-Natal,” Cocker said.
