A FORMER Durban resident’s racist Facebook post has sparked outrage across the country. Matthew Theunissen took umbrage to Sports and Recreation Minister Fikile Mbalula’s ban on three sporting codes hosting international tournaments.
His post was screengrabbed and has gone viral on Twitter. It read: “So no more sporting events for South Africa… I’ve never been more proud than to say our government are a bunch of K*****S… yes, I said it, so go and f**k yourselves you black f**king c**ts.”
The racist rant comes just months after Penny Sparrow’s inflammatory and bigoted remarks over the state of the Durban beachfront.
Here’s what Twitter had to say about the incident:
Look, I might only have a Std 2, but unlike #MatthewTheunissen, I do have the brains not to post crap on the intrawebs. Mostly.

Good deeds between black and whites are never celebrated. The minute a retard coughs up racist remarks, Twitter jams. #MatthewTheunissen

Sadly not entirely shocked that totally abhorrent racist views like those expressed by #MatthewTheunissen still exist in #SA. #WhiteShame

Most scary thing about #MatthewTheunissen is while people be condemning, loads of people be nodding. Ignorance & stupidity knows no bounds.
