SNOWFALL has been confirmed in the Western and Easter Cape brought by a severe cold front making its way across the country. Today the front has hit KwaZulu-Natal, bringing cold winds and plummeting temperatures.
However, the South African Weather Service does not foresee any snow for the Durban coast.
According to weather forecaster, Wisani Maluleke, only the Drakensburg will see any snow over the weekend.
“What the Durban coast can expect is some rainfall today and tomorrow. On Monday we expect the province will experience sunny weather with a slight one or two degree increase in temperature,” he said.
By Tuesday the temperature is once again expected to dip.
