VIDEO: Durban North drifter crashes on Mackeurtan
The speeding drifter crashed into a fellow commuter on Mackeurtan Avenue before fleeing the scene.
A VIDEO has surfaced on social media of a drifting speedster crashing into a fellow commuter on Mackeurtan Avenue in Durban North.
The video clearly shows how the black Mercedes-Benz accelerated, drifted into oncoming traffic and then smashed into another vehicle before fleeing the scene.
The incident took place opposite the Caltex Garage and Northlands Pharmacy last night.
The occupants of the other vehicle reportedly sustained minor injuries.
Drag racing has been a reoccurring issue in the Durban North and uMhlanga areas.
However, Lt Raymond Deokaran, spokesman for the Durban North SAPS, said they had not received any complaints of this nature, nor have any cases been opened at the station.
