Party the night away

Everyone at some time in their lives has either been to or had a party.

IT’S Celebration Time at The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway when local group Platform Jazz invite audiences to sing and swing along to their jazz party favourites on Sunday, 3 April.

Everyone at some time in their lives has either been to or had a party. We all celebrate milestones in our lives such as birthdays, engagements, weddings, achievements and certain holidays; and this is done by being with people, having fun, consuming food and drink, dressing up, singing and dancing!

Now Platform Jazz is set to bring Barnyard audiences their jazz party favourites from the gangster and Great Gatsby parties, evergreen tunes from the Swing era, conga line Latin favourites, and songs that just celebrate life!

The line-up of festive hits include favourites such as Mac The KnifeFeeling GoodRum And Coca Cola, Tequila!, Here’s To Life , Let’s Fall In Love, C’est Si Bon, What A Wonderful World  and Quando Quando to name a few. Join Jeff Judge on the saxophone, Dunc “The Hunc” on the trombone, Kirsten “The Kitten” on the clarinet, Melvin Peters on the keys, Andreas on the bass, “Bashful” Bruce on the drums, songbird Shelley McLean, and Cathy “Hotlips” Peacock on the trumpet.
