Pedestrian struck on North Coast Road
It is alleged that the seriously injured man was hit while attempting to cross the busy roadway.
A 30-year-old man sustained serious injuries when he was struck by a delivery vehicle on North Coast Road in Redhill yesterday.
According to Kyle van Reenen, of Crisis Medical, “Paramedics arrived on scene to find the man lying in one of the side roads, having suffered serious injuries including fractures to both legs.”
Advanced life support intervention was needed to stabilise him before he could be transported to Addington State Hospital.
“Reports from the scene suggest the man was struck by the vehicle whilst attempting to cross the road,” added Van Reenen.
