EVENTS

GET a Bigger Vision, a mission of spiritual revival, is on at St Aidan’s Parish, 33 ML Sultan Road, Durban from Thursday 4 to Sunday 7, February.

Various speakers will do presentations during the course of the weekend.

A DENIM and Diamonds dinner and dance takes place on Friday, 5 February at Tafta Lodge, 42 South Beach Avenue, Durban at 7pm.

CHILD WELFARE Durban and District will officially launch new shopping days at its Donation Station Charity Shop at 20 Clarence Road, Greyville, on Friday 5, February.

The shop will be open Tuesday to Friday from 8am to 3pm. Finger snacks will be on sale as well as special discounts on non-food items purchased.

SADAG will host Facebook Friday Online Chat dedicated to helping individuals affected or who have loved ones going through a traumatic experience. There are two free live chats planned for Friday, 5 February at 1pm with Psychologist Joslina Sehoana and at 7pm with Psychologist Mara Zanella. EACH month, uShaka Marine World’s Wahooz on the Promenade Restaurant goes all out to keep you entertained every weekend with live performances, great cocktails and good food.

Catch the awesome line up during the month of love, with live acts such as Afritude, who perform a wide repertoire of cover versions from Eric Clapton, Nat King Cole, Bob Marley, UB 40, Commodores, Depeche Mode, Enrique Eglaisis, Sipho Hotstix, Mandoza and more every Saturday from noon until 4pm and then on Sundays the Afro Divas will keep you entertained from noon to 4pm.

UMBILO Congregational Church, 498 Bartle Road, Umbilo, will host a fleamarket on Saturday 6, February from 7am to noon.

BIRDLIFE Port Natal will host an outing to Burman Bush on Saturday, 6 February at 6am.

SINGLES are invited to join a social group at Crinkley Bottom Park, off Inanda Road in Waterfall every Sunday at noon.

GO along for a guided long walk (5 to 6 hours) at Krantzkloof Nature Reserve on Sunday, 7 February at 8am.

This is a strenuous walk for fit hikers only. Meet at the picnic site, 152 Kloof Falls Road. No booking required.

HIGHWAY Heritage Society will meet at Thomas More College Kloof on Saturday, 6 February at 2pm. Guest speaker, Peter Adams, will present a talk and slide presentation entitled Adams Booksellers, 150 years of change. All welcome.
