One injured in fiery Gateway crash

ONE person was injured after a vehicle burst into flames near Gateway this morning. The fire was quickly extinguished said Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen.

“One person suffered minor injuries when the vehicle he was driving in burst into flames, following a collision with another vehicle near Gateway shopping mall. Swift action from Ethekwini Fire and Rescue services ensured the fire was extinguished,” he said.

In September last year, a motorist was lucky to escape injury after his car burst into flames on the N2.
