Every Durbanite will be able to relate to these typical summer experiences.

WITH the mercury hitting an all time high Durbanites have been battling to beat the heat.

Ice cream, air conditioning and dips in the pool have become the salvation to many seeking some relief from the unrelenting and sweltering heat-spell.

However, there is hope as Wisani Maluleke, a weather forecaster at The South African Weather Service’s KZN forecasting centre at King Shaka International Airport, confirmed yesterday that the temperatures would begin to drop by today.
