Stolen laptop recovered in CBD

Two suspects have been arrested following a break-in at a North Coast Road business over the weekend.

A LAPTOP was recovered in Durban’s central business district earlier today, by Marshall Security members, after it was taken from a business premises that was burgled on Sunday evening in North Coast Road.

According to Dave Campbell of the security company, Glen Smith (Marshall Security’s-Community Projects Manager) and Zandre Grobler (Area Manager-Community Projects) had visited the complainant this morning to conduct a courtesy their investigation and gain information pertaining to the stolen property.

“After further investigation information was received of the laptop’s whereabouts in the central CBD. The laptop was located a short while later at a business premises in Denis Hurley Street (former Queen Street).

“The laptop was easily identifiable as the owner’s business logo and details were on the laptop’s screen. The laptop was handed back to our delighted client. Two suspects were arrested and handed over to members of Durban Central SAPS where they were detained for further questioning,” he said.
