A MAN is in critical condition after falling from the second floor balcony at a popular hotel in Riverside. Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen said paramedics were called to the scene around midnight on Friday.
“The 32 year old male had fallen from the second story balcony. He was in a serious condition, and advanced life support intervention was required to stabilize him before he was placed onto a specialized stretcher for suspected spinal cord injuries and taken to a nearby hospital for further care.
He remains in a serious but stable condition.
“It is unclear what caused the man to fall, smashing through a skylight, before landing on the terrace of a restaurant below. No one else was injured in the incident,” he said.
