Road sign mishap raises some eyebrows
Have you noticed the signage mishap on the N2 uMhlanga interchange?
AN EMBARRASSING mishap regarding the newly painted road markings on the N2 uMhlanga interchange have raised some controversy and eyebrows recently.
The markings are supposed to read ‘N2S’ to indicate the direction of the lane.
However, the contractor painted the ‘2’ backwards.
Residents have expressed both outrage and amusement after a photo was posted onto the Durban North Neighbour’s Facebook Page, highlighting the error.
Angela Bennett Walker wrote “Because there are idiots doing road signs and paintings of the white and dashed lines. They can’t even do them straight anymore. Gone are the days when there was Quality in workmanship. Disgusting!”
Many other residents, however, simply laughed off the cringe worthy mistake.
