Headless baby found on uMhlanga beach

Police are searching for the head of an infant found on the beach this afternoon.

NEWS has just broken of a gruesome discovery made on Umhlanga’s Eastmoor Crescent Beach this afternoon.

A two-month-old baby was found dead. The infant’s head and genitals had been removed. According to Lt Raymond Deokaran, spokesman for the Durban North SAPS, the naked body of the baby was discovered by a lifesaver.

Police are currently on the scene waiting for the mortuary van to arrive. The search is now on to find the baby’s head.
