Support Feral Cat Rescue book sale

Join the Feral Cat Rescue Trust for their quarterly book sale fundraiser on 13 July.

THE Feral Cat Rescue Trust will be hosting its quarterly book sale on Saturday, 13 June. In preparation for the fundraiser, the selfless volunteers are appealing to members of the community to donate books towards the event.
“We have had a good response from the community thus far, but are still in need of some children’s books,” said Tracey Hartley of the Feral Cat Rescue Trust. The group is also in need of trestle tables, and is appealing to community members to either hire out tables to the NPO at a reduced rate or to donate the use of the tables on the day.
Drop-off points for book donations will be made available in eMdloti, uMhlanga and Glenashley.
The sale will be held on Saturday, 13 June at the Lighthouse Mall (outside the Pick ‘n Pay Liquor store) from 9am to 1pm. All books will sold for R10 each. The money raised by the event will predominantly be used to fund the sterilisation of feral cats in the Durban area, as well as the treatment of sick and injured ferals.
“The books are really sold at a bargain, and there are some really exciting novels as well as cookbooks and other novelty volumes available. We urge the community to support our cause,” added Hartley.
