Principal of Crawford College La Lucia, Jenny Coetzee, said she was thrilled with the efforts of the pupils.

“I am extremely proud of this class of 2014, which not only achieved outstanding results, but were also fully engaged in all aspects of school life: on the sports field, on stage and through each student’s community service. Their results exceeded all expectations.

“Thank you for the effort and commitment displayed by the teachers and students in once again achieving superb results. You have done us proud. May each student be successful in their chosen careers whether in the sciences, business, law or arts.

“I am confident that each student will contribute positively as future South African leaders. May they continue to live the motto for 2014: “A good heart and a good head is a formidable combination” (Nelson Mandela),” she said.
