10 injured in Durban North accident

Bakkie carrying workers collides with a 4x4 on Stirling Crescent.

TEN people were injured when two vehicles collided on Stirling Crescent on Wednesday afternoon. The accident occurred at about 4.30pm. According to Crisis Medical’s Neil Powell, paramedics found a number of patients lying and sitting on the ground.

“Some had scratches and bruises, while one patient sustained spinal injuries. Two vehicles had collided and the bakkie was carrying local workers. All the patients were transported to a local hospital for further treatment,” he said.

Powell added the exact cause of the accident is unknown.
