Another car crash on uMhlanga Rocks Drive

Two people were left injured in the fifth accident to occur on uMhlanga Rocks Drive in six months.

TWO people were left injured after yet another accident occurred on uMhlanga Rocks Drive in Somerset Park, at approximately 10pm on Friday. The Northglen News has reported on three previous accidents in the spate of four months.

Evidence at the scene suggested that the vehicle was traveling north when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle smashed into a tree, ripped it from the ground, and landed on its roof, Marshal Security reported on its Facebook page. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Paramedics treated the passenger for minor injuries at the scene. However, the driver sustained serious injuries and had to be transported to the hospital.

At this stage the extent of his injuries, and his current status is unknown.
