A ‘Christmas 4 the kids’

Robin Hood Foundation spreads Christmas cheer at Golden Gateway School.

A TOTAL of 195 children with special needs from the Golden Gateway School in Cato Manor were treated to a fun day on Friday by the Robin Hood Foundation.

The event started at 10.15am and when the bell sounded for the children to start the fun day, they came dashing down the bank and dived into the fun, which involved jumping castles, go kart rides and an opportunity to interact with various animals.

But it was the sound of the music that got the boys and girls, aged from five to 21, going as they danced to the tunes played by the DJ.

The ‘Christmas 4 Kids’ project is one of many events organised by the foundation. Robin Hood Foundation volunteers together with the organisation’s co-ordinator, Kim Griffith Jones, delved into the fun along with the children who attend this government school.
