Spreading Christmas cheer with the Domino Foundation

Here’s a chance to help others this Christmas.

THE Durban North based Domino Foundation are once again setting about bringing Christmas cheer and they are appealing for help. The organisation, that works with 32 crèches in their Early Childhood Development programme and benefits more than 1000 children on a daily basis, is looking for volunteers to help it wrap Christmas gifts.

“This year, we want to place a Christmas present into the hands of each of these children to share the love and make a difference in the lives of these little ones. The Domino Foundation has created the opportunity for people from all different work spheres to come and spend a small portion of their day making a difference and adding joy to hundreds of lives, by inviting them to come pack, wrap or bring goods to our babies home for these parcels. “We have taken care of all the fuss and have made it easy for anyone to get involved,” said marketing and communications manager, Shaun Tait.

He said they would allocate time slots for staff and teams to go to The Domino Foundation Fairhavens Babies’ Home and wrap the gifts they have bought. The gifts will be placed under the Christmas tree at the home.
