Christin’s lucky number 13

Earlier this year Christin was crowned second princess at the Miss Pre Teen SA.

GREENWOOD Park Primary School pupil, Christin Robson, has had a watershed year. She recently returned from Uvongo where she was crowned the winner in the fifth annual Africa Model search in the U11 category. She also received rave reviews from the judges and was awarded the best interview at the competition.

“It was a super experience and I was in shock when they announced number 13 as the winner. My friends had to turn around and tell me that was me. I was so shocked, but I was extremely happy as well. I don’t enter competitions hoping to win, but it was a nice feeling,” she said.

“My school and my modelling agency were super in the lead up to the competition. My teachers at the school would rehearse possible questions asked by the judges and that really helped me.”

Earlier this year Christin was crowned second princess at the Miss Pre Teen SA and she also won second place in the Face of Africa competition. One of the key aspects in her modelling career has been her charity work. She recently held a fundraiser at the St Vincent de Paul in Greenwood Park.

“More than 70 blankets were donated which was, fantastic. My charity work has made me realise that it’s not about the money or gifts we give but mostly our love and time,” she said.

The 12-year-old practices daily and uses her home passage as an improvise runway. She says to succeed in life, practice makes perfect.
