Man injured in N2 uMhlanga accident

A MAN was seriously injured when his vehicle slammed into the rear of an eight ton truck on the N2 south near the M25 in uMhlanga this morning.

“Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment,” said Netcare 911’s Chris Botha.

Netcare 911 paramedics said they, and the fire department, arrived at the scene and found the roadway obstructed with the crumpled remains of the vehicles.

“The driver was seriously injured while the driver of the truck had left the scene. Paramedics stabilised the injured man on scene before transporting him to a local hospital.”
