Use of Cameron Dalziel’s credit cards shocks wife

Russian rebels are apparently using the credit cards of the victims of the ill-fated MH17 flight that was shot down last week, killing all 298 passengers.

IT has emerged that Cameron Dalziel’s credit cards have been used, despite the former uMhlanga resident and helicopter pilot having been killed in the MH17 disaster exactly a week ago. The Daily Mail has reported that Dalziel’s wife Reine has been forced to cancel his credit cards. Dalziel, a father of two, who in his young days attended Beachwood (now Northwood School) was killed along with 298 of his fellow passengers when the plane he was travelling in was struck by a missile fired by pro-Russian rebels over the Ukraine.

According to the Daily Mail the rebels are using victims’ credit cards, answering their phones at the crash site and stealing their belongings – including sentimental items such as jewellery. This information is reported to have come from Reine’s brother, Shane Hattingh who told CNN his sister was stunned to see activity on her husband’s account. The credit card is apparently being used in the Ukraine.
