Man killed crossing M4 highway

A MAN died when he was hit by a car  on the M4 north near the uMhlanga off ramp this morning at around 7am.

Netcare 911 spokesman, Chris Botha, said the man tried to run across the busy highway and was hit by a vehicle travelling on the north bound lane.

“The man tragically died before our paramedics arrived due to the extensive injuries he sustained in the collision,” he said.
