No child reported missing, confirms police

After 24 hours no one has made a report of a missing child and police still have not managed to find any concrete evidence of the two-year-old toddler that was spotted wandering down Longwoods Drive, yesterday.

THE Greenwood Park Police have confirmed this morning that a child had not been reported missing.

This follows almost 24 hours after news of the Glen Anil toddler was seen walking down Longwoods Drive, yesterday morning at around 9am.

Facebook and other social media sites were buzzing with conflicting reports after the initial messages were posted. A search team comprising of members of the local community Burra Community Assistance followed up on all of these reports for hours, but were not able to get any concrete evidence of the boy or his whereabouts.

Lt Elvis Naidoo, of Greenwood Park Police, has reported that police have conducted a full investigation within the community, but have not received any conclusive evidence or information regarding the toddler, and they have not received any reports of a missing person.
